AI assistant and transparency

Last revision: 20 September 2026 NATURE AND PURPOSE The chat window on this website is an assistant based on artificial intelligence: answers are generated automatically by a language model provided by an external service, not by a GALVANIK S.R.L. operator. Its purpose is to provide general information about the company and the electroplating treatments described on this website, and to direct visitors to the official contact channels. SCOPE AND LIMITS The assistant is configured to answer on the basis of the public information published on this website: chrome plating, nickel plating and chrome stripping services, materials and sectors served, registered office and contact details, and the information needed to request a technical assessment. As a company decision, the assistant does not provide: - prices, quotations, price lists or discounts; - lead times, delivery times or availability commitments; - confirmation of feasibility for specific jobs; - references to certifications, standards or regulations; - chemical, environmental, regulatory, process or safety consultancy. These are limits set in the service configuration, not prohibitions imposed by any specific legislation. RELIABILITY Automatically generated answers may contain errors, inaccuracies or incomplete information and are not binding. Any technical assessment or commercial commitment requires confirmation from GALVANIK S.R.L. staff. HUMAN CONTACT The assistant does not transfer the conversation to a human operator in real time. DATA SENT TO THE CHAT The text you type in the chat, together with the previous messages of the same conversation, is transmitted to our systems and from there to the gateway and to the provider of the artificial intelligence model, which process it to generate the answer. Conversations are not stored in the website database; we cannot, however, rule out temporary technical logs at the providers involved. The input field is free text: if you enter personal data, that data is processed. For this reason we ask you not to enter unnecessary personal data, sensitive data, credentials or confidential business information in the chat. The assistant is not an anonymous tool and we do not guarantee technical anonymity. When you confirm the initial notice, we record minimal technical data (notice version, date and time, user agent and originating page), without the content of the conversation. Details on purposes, legal bases, recipients, retention and your rights are set out in the Privacy Policy; the use of cookies and similar technologies is described in the Cookie Policy. TRANSPARENCY AND LEGAL REFERENCES The automated nature of the assistant is stated in the title of the chat window, in a notice shown before the first message is sent, and in a visible indication throughout the conversation, in line with the transparency obligations for systems that interact directly with people (Article 50(1) of Regulation (EU) 2024/1689 — AI Act). Given its informational purpose, the assistant does not perform the functions listed in the AI Act annexes for high-risk systems and does not take automated decisions about people. Any machine-readable marking of generated content depends on the measures adopted by the model provider and cannot be verified from this website. This page describes the measures actually in place and does not constitute a declaration of conformity, a certification or an approval by public authorities. MANAGEMENT, REPORTS AND UPDATES To report an incorrect answer, a malfunction or inappropriate content produced by the assistant, please write to info@galvaniksrl.it with "AI assistant" in the subject line.
